Tailored to your iPadSaxoTrader for iPad's trading and interaction flow layout is specifically designed for the iPad, supporting both portrait and landscape modes.
Prices & Trade
Select your instrument to view the trade types available, such as:
- Order - trade the instrument using a Market, Limit or Stop order
- Trade – trade the instrument at the current market price (spot) or as a Forward
- FX Option – trade the FX cross as an FX Option (Where available)
You can also place related stop and limit orders alongside trades and orders.
To receive regular news updates applicable to your account, simply select news from the main menu.

Account Summary Panel
The Account Summary Panel, situated at the bottom of your screen, keeps you up-to-date with your account(s), detailing:
- Cash balance –cash available for new cash-instrument positions (stocks, ETFs, ETCs)
- Account value
- Margin available for new margin positions (Forex, CFDs and Futures)
- Margin utilisation of open margin positions
For an overview of your current market positions, select Open Positions from the Main Menu. Special trading product icons depict net positions, containing a number of individual positions for the instrument. To view individual positions, simply select a net position.
Using the actions column, you can implement the following actions for that particular instrument:
- Close position
- Add Related orders
- View position details
Select one to view a pop-up with the actions available for that particular instrument.
Details of a specific order can be viewed by clicking on Open Orders; also giving you the option to cancel or amend the order. Actions available will be displayed in a pop-up when the order is selected.
The actions column provides you with the following options for that particular instrument:
- Delete order
- Edit order
- View order details.
Select notifications to display any trade or order confirmations processed in your current session. Notifications are stored on a session basis and are removed once the trading session is ended by logging out.
Historical trading account activity is available from the desktop trading platforms.
