The most cost-effective trading platform in Switzerland

Zollikon - Saxo Bank, the online trading and investment specialist, has gained first place in an independent study by the Swiss investor portal Assetinum.com. Among the 16 Swiss online trading banks and brokers that were looked at, Saxo Bank received the award for 1st place with the lowest fees.



“Occasional trader” and “active trader” categories
The fees of 16 Swiss online platforms were compared using two types of customer – “occasional traders” and “active traders”. Customers with four equity transactions and a custody account of CHF 50,000 on average per year were classed as occasional traders. Active traders are categorised as customers with a custody account of CHF 500,000 who make 30 purchases or sales per year, including American and European equities, index funds, bonds and gold ETFs.
